File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to PDC

You can access PDC's FTP site to send us large files or to download files that we make available.  There are two directories that are generally available:

Using FTP Access on PDC's Web Site

You will need a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program to send and receive files from our web site.  Some free FTP programs include (note: we do not develop, support or verify the integrity of these programs):

Most INTERNET browsers (FireFox, Internet Explorer, etc.) can be used to download files from FTP site.  You can "right-click" on a file with your mouse and then select "Save As" to download a file.  For example, you could do this with any file in PDC's public FTP site (pdc-cables.com/pub).

Internet Explorer can also be used for uploading files.  Basic instructions follow:

or

You can then drag-and-drop files into the FTP site that is opened in Windows Explorer.

Older Versions of Internet Explorer

Usually, you can "right-click" on the page in Internet Explorer (not Windows Explorer) and then select "Login As".  You should then enter an anonymous login.
